EU policy over the last 10 years has been dominated primarily by a lack of convergence, the diversity of nations with different economic performances and the construction flaws of the euro. Lenin said: "Whoever wants to destroy the capitalists must destroy their currency." This is exactly what is happening at the moment, albeit "accidentally".
